BedBug Bites
Bed bug bites are very similar to mosquito bites in their appearance, but unlike mosquito bites do not disappear as soon as them. These flat welts or red bumps linger on for a few days and cause the person a lot of itching. The rash actually is an allergic effect of the anesthetic which the bug inserts into its victims blood by the bug at the time of biting them. Sometimes the rashes which are where the bites have taken place do not appear for quite a few days and the red welts are seen only later. The bite of a bed bug is unlike that of a flea bite which has a red dot in the middle of it. However the pattern of the flea bites and the bug bites are very similar which is around three in a row on the skin of the victim. This usually happens when the victim feels the bite and disturbs the bug while it is feeding on its victim and then moves on a bit to bite them in a different place and looking for anew spot where they can find a vein.
Bed bug bites produce different reaction in people. This also depends on the species of the bugs which bites them. Some may have allergic reactions to these bites, whereas others may not have too many tell tale signs of the rash and will find it difficult to identify what the cause of the itching is. Those who have allergic reactions or intense itching may get scars from scratching these bites.
