How to kill bed bugs

To be able to kill and eradicate bed bugs you first have to identify them so that you are sure of what kind of bug it is in the first place. This is because there are different methods of killing different bugs and only if you have identified the bug correctly can you get rid of it. The best way to eradicate bed bugs is by initially preventing their entry into you home and clothing. If they have entered your abode by some chance then you have to apply certain chemicals to all the targeted areas where they dwell.

Bed bugs have increased because there is more travel and often some of the travel modes are not as clean as they should be and people carry these bugs home with them when they get off buses, trains and other public carriers which are not well fumigated for pests. To control and also to kill these bed bugs one should ensure that homes are kept uncluttered and cleaned thoroughly by sealing off cracks and areas where these bed bugs can multiply. As bed bugs cannot tolerate temperatures which are more than a 110 degrees F it is best to steam the areas where these bugs dwell and kill those which have already found their way into your home. You should ensure that you spray areas where books, clothes, linen and other articles are stored where you do not really look often and the bugs are left to multiply peacefully until you suddenly chance upon them. Instead of allowing this to happen do a thorough spring cleaning and also spray areas with a pesticide which would kill any of the bed bugs if they are around. This way you will never have the danger of allowing bed bugs to thrive in your home and your home will be free from these pests.
